1. Acceptance

By registering and using liftcert.ie you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. The Service

LiftCert provides an online Manual Handling awareness training course, assessment, and digital certificate. The course is aligned with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use this service. By registering you confirm you meet this requirement.

4. Payment

  • The course fee is €59.99 including 23% Irish VAT, paid as a single payment.
  • Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store payment card details.
  • A receipt will be emailed to you after successful payment.

5. Refund Policy

  • Full refund if requested before accessing the exam.
  • No refund once you have started the exam.
  • To request a refund, email info@liftcert.ie.

6. Exam & Certificate

  • Up to 3 exam attempts are included in the purchase price, with a minimum 24-hour gap between attempts.
  • The pass mark is 75% (15 out of 20 questions correct).
  • Certificates are valid for 3 years from the date of issue.
  • Certificate re-issue after expiry costs €14.99. Additional exam attempts (beyond 3) cost €9.99 each.

7. Acceptable Use

  • You may not share your account or exam answers with others.
  • Each purchase entitles one individual to complete one course.
  • Any attempt to cheat, reverse-engineer, or misuse the platform will result in account suspension and certificate invalidation.

8. Job Board

Participation in the job board is entirely voluntary. Opting in grants partner companies access to your name and certificate details. You may opt out at any time from your dashboard.

9. Limitation of Liability

LiftCert provides awareness-level training. We are not liable for incidents arising from inadequate on-site training, employer failure to conduct site-specific risk assessments, or use of the certificate for purposes beyond its intended scope.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
